About Yakjah
Yakjah Reconciliation and Development Network is a non-profit youth and women-led social innovation for peace building. We offer a non-judgemental safe space for self-expression for young people and women who are marginalized, are polarised and radicalized by conflict experiences and competitive narratives with opposing viewpoints and experiences, such as those who have witnessed or experienced violence, displacement and exile, and who are deeply traumatized by personal and collective grief. As a healing and transformative agency we work with diverse groups and communities.
