Yakjah Reconciliation and Development Network is the only dedicated peacebuilding organization in the region of Jammu and Kashmir that works across a diversity of ethnic and religious communities, cultures and regions. We engage with multiple levels from grassroots communities, academic and economic institutions, policy, security and political stakeholders. Our biggest strength is in bringing adversaries together for working on partnerships. We also work with international academic institutions and non-profits creating linkages between local and global. Our residential workshops have built the capacity of more than 5000 young people and women. Our volunteer network spreads across the three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
